2009 Goya Freestyle Wave Series - One
Freewave Evolution
All New Shapes, still maintaining the same sizes, but also adding a bigger size to complete the range, the One105. This year the full line was entirely redeveloped. The most important change is the progressive concept that we added into the range. The rockers get progressional faster towards the bigger boards so on the One77 the rocker is easier riding in windier conditions or for lighter sailors, on the One85 there is a slight progression tours early planning, and even more on the One95 and One105. Basically the whole design is adapting to the needs of the conditions and riders weight. The tack line and volume displacements move with sizes as well, making each board individually right for its size, still keeping the same positive and playful feeling through out the range. They also come with a New fin design MFC 211series that are exclusively design for the 2009 GOYA boards. On the graphic side you will notice a more technical feel while still maintaining the minimal lay out of the Goya boards. We also slightly tuned up the pads/footstraps for added comfort and durability.
Performance: fast planning, smoother turns and a total natural feeling wile riding them. It is really up to the rider and the conditions to find out what these boards are really capable of. It truely excels in all conditions, lakes, rivers, on-shore or even riding down the line.
Francisco Goya “These shapes simply combine all the positive features from our Wave, Freewave and even Freeride designs into ONE. The first riding sensation as I stepped on to the board was of a balanced and compact design that translated into earlier planing and a powerful controllable ride. All the sizes excel in all wind angles and seas conditions. One True Windsurf board for all conditions and styles, Frontside-FreestyleWave-Powerwave-Onshore or Freestyle. From boosting huge jumps to hooking your turns inside the wave or getting inverted on latest freestyle moves”.

2009 Goya FXR Series
Freemove/Freeride
Combo
Focus:, Early planning, riding comfort and added racing performance
RIDING EXPERIENCE
The FXR line is a compact and stable design that get’s planning on the lightest breeze, through the wind holes the rockers keeps gliding with a reduced weted surface area. on the jibes the more compact design helps it turns easier and helps finishing the moves with speed. On the straight is fast as the race boards with the comfort of our curved deck underneath the footstraps position. With the footstraps settled to the inner position it freely maneuvers around the waves or made it ideal for first time footstraps users, making any SESSION EASY AND Fun, and with the new further out into the rail footstraps position, it allows the more advance racer to trim higher into the wind maximizing the rail and fin lift. All the accessories been tuned up including the addition of the new MFC LiquidMove line with all of the FXR boards.
The FXR reduces it’s weight with our light sanded finish and gets stronger with the Biaxial glass
Fransisco Goya "A progress ional freeride design is what people envision when looking for a board in these sizes, all the way from the performance trickle down of the PWA racing boards to a forgiving jibe, controllable in stronger winds and chop with still responsiveness to your body movement and trimming. Really a true Fun, fast and all round high end board”

2009 Goya Custom Wave Series
Globally Inspired
Ho'opika Influenced
This year the full line was entirely redeveloped. Most onviously there are new sizes but the most important change is the progressive concept that we added into the range. The rockers get progressional faster tours the bigger boards so on the Custom66 the rocker is easier riding in windier conditions or for lighter sailors, on the Custom72 there is a slight progression tours early planning and even more on the Custom78 and Custom84. Basically the whole design is adapting to the needs of the conditions and riders weight. The tack line and volume displacements move with sizes as well, making each board individually right for it’s size, still keeping the same positive and playful feeling through out the range. They also come with a New fin design MFC 211series that are exclusively designed for the 2009 GOYA boards. On the graphic side you will notice a more technical feel while still maintaining the minimal lay out of the Goya boards. We also slightly tuned up the pads/footstraps for added comfort and durability.
FOCUS: early planning - down-the-line performance - comfort and maneuvrability in the stronger winds and choppy conditions (no matter what direction the wind is blowing)
Francisco Goya: “They are simply my favorite’s shapes that at the end of every season get turned into the masters of our new series, utilizing all of the advances in construction and accessories and off course stronger and lighter”

2009 Goya Freestyle-Freestyle Wave Series - X1
Revolutionary Freestyle/Freewave
Transformer
The X1 maintains the same sizes for 2009, with new graphics, a new freestyle fin MFC 211series and improved pads and straps for added comfort and durability.
Focus: Create a line of boards in 105 & 115 liters that can be ridden as the ultimate freestyle board and still ride as confortably as the One Series on a straight line, on onshore or side-onshore conditions, allowing you to take off vert from a ramp.
Result: They combine the ability to plane early, ride fast, and glide in any direction. Very similar to the ONE freestylewaveseries — and through the added tuned up rails - increased tail bevel height - lowered and straighter nose rocker – extended flatter section of the deck - customized inserts, fin and super strong/light construction it transforms into the Pros ultimate freestyle board, making you feel how easy the latest freestyle moves can be.
Francisco Goya: “The two X1’s ride slightly higher of the water all around and on the tail than the ONEseries, making them feel free on the water like they are riding on the air, at the same time they can still be turned, carved or take-off straight up from a chop or ramp through the medium nose rocker. On the freestyle tricks the boards pivot on its center, right between your mast track and front foot, making it easier to keep the control and glide in the middle of the rotations. Also very important, the choices of fin change the entire aspect of the design, taking it from a freestylewave type of ride, to the ultimate Freestyle-Pro board”

2009 Goya Surf Series
Beginner/Freeride combo
Focus: Make one board that can get anybody windsurfing withing minutes and allow the rider to improve with the same board, learning to jibe, trim upwind or race downwind.
Result: a balance board for begginers that can also be turned into the most used board in the quiver of the most advanced rider (also a great sup board)
Francisco Goya: “Friends always ask me to show them how to windsurf, my daughter kept on asking me for a board we could go ride together and I’m sure my son will follow in the next months, and I kept wanting a board that could do all that and also give me an accelerating ride any day, anywhere, no matter how light the winds got, and even using it as a full Stand-Up surfboard(It is the same volume distribution that is giving enough support for a beginner windsurfer enough for a beginner Stand up rider) The answer was a medium size with a balanced length and width that will allow anybody to get the feeling of windsurfing within minutes and still offer endless room to keep experiencing your progression in the sport for years to come”
NEW FEATURES FOR 2009:
FIN: Wide & Short = Helps first time waterstarts in shallow sections still maintaining enough fin area once you are planning.
Daggeboard: The all new fully retractable Allgaier daggeboard brings the best of both worlds, you can choose to either have it hidden away, tacked inside the board while riding around or have it trim down for first time riders or for trimming upwind on the lighter winds.
Nose protector: Added thickness inside the EVA on the nose area keeps the front of the board safe from potential mast damage.
Straps placement: We added a carry on strap at the tail, that makes it easier when carrying the board in our out of the water.
Rails: A Harder denser EVA around the whole perimeter of the board helps keeping the rails looking like new after a full season.
Graphics: Keeping continuity from the rest of the line, I never seen so much work done on a full Eva deck board, hope you enjoy it.
