Following several years of not competing on the World Tour, Francisco Goya has returned to the limelight after being awarded a wildcard entry into the PWA's opening event in Cabo Verde.

In the single elimination Francisco stormed straight to the final, coming up against tour veterans Nik Baker & Scott McKercher along the way. Francisco is one of the few sailors to ride production boards in the competition - namely the Custom 66, 72 & 78 which he used to stamp his mark on the event. Finishing the single 4th in a 32 man fleet made up the best sailors in the world - and after such a break from competition - is a testament to not only Franciscos ability but the high quality and range of Goya boards.
